Terms of Service

1. Who we are

The service at cloudeel.com and dash.cloudeel.com (the “Service”) is operated by Cloudeel (“we”, “us”). Paid subscriptions are sold by Paddle, acting as our merchant of record and authorised reseller; Paddle's own terms apply to the payment transaction.

2. Your account

• You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent in your country) to use the Service.
• You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your login methods secure. Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use.
• One person or legal entity may not maintain multiple free accounts to circumvent plan limits.

3. Your content

• You retain all rights to text, images and other material you upload or generate (“Content”). You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive licence to host, cache, reproduce and display Content solely to operate and improve the Service.
• You are responsible for having the rights to everything you publish and for complying with laws applicable to your site (consumer, privacy, accessibility and others).
• Content generated with the assistant is provided to you as-is. Review it before publishing; AI output can be inaccurate.
• We may remove Content or suspend sites that violate the Acceptable Use Policy or applicable law, with notice where reasonably possible.

4. Plans, payment and renewal

• Plan features and limits are described on the pricing page and may change with notice; changes do not reduce what you have already paid for in the current period.
• Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or yearly) until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from your account page; access continues until the end of the paid period.
• Prices exclude taxes unless stated; VAT / sales tax is calculated and collected at checkout by Paddle.
• If a renewal payment fails, we will retry for a few days and then downgrade the workspace to the Free plan. Sites are not deleted.
• Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.

5. Downgrades and Free plan limits

When a paid plan ends, the workspace returns to Free limits. Sites exceeding the Free site limit remain online but become read-only, custom domains are disabled and the platform badge is shown, until you upgrade again or delete sites. We may delete read-only sites that remain inactive for more than 12 months after notifying you by email.

6. Fair use of AI features

AI edits are metered in credits as described on the pricing page. Failed or invalid edits are not charged. We may apply rate limits to protect the Service. Automated or scripted use of the assistant outside the editor is not permitted.

7. Availability and support

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Published sites are served from a content delivery network independent of the editor; editor maintenance does not take published sites offline. Support is provided by email at support@cloudeel.com.

8. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from the account page. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy. On termination you can export your site content for 30 days, after which it may be deleted.

9. Disclaimers and liability

The Service is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law we exclude implied warranties and limit our aggregate liability to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced by email or in the editor at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after that date constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the operator's country of residence, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rules in your country of residence.
